I came to this little restaurant on recommendation from Gemini. The restaurant is not fancy at all. Quite the opposite. There were very few people eating inside, but they seemed to be dealing with a lot of home deliveries. I still went inside, and had my dinner. I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan. What a delight! I have never had a butter chicken so good! The naan too was excellent The service was really good. The waiter gave me very good advice and was super friendly. I'd come back without hesitation to try some other stuff.

The taste was average. Free drinking water was provided on the table, but the waiter kept asking us if we wanted any drinks. We had clearly stated that we didn't want any, which was a bit confusing.

A nice restaurant at the heart of burdubai meenabazar area for lovely north indian food - veg and non veg and juices and sweets. Long history is associated with this restaurant. The ground floor has a few tables and a bit dark lighted to my taste. Interiors may need some major update to modernise. They have an upper floor too- I haven't been there. Just next door there is a more comfortable seating arrangement too. Also they have a separate juice centre in the next building. The pricing is slightly higher than peers but you get genuine value for money because of superb food and nice polite service. I have been taking food here from 2009 onwards. Last night I had bhindi do pyaza-19 dhs, fish koliwada-32 dhs with butter naan, aate ki roti and a lemon soda sweet and sour. They came with lot of marinated carrot salad and mint sauce- which was used as a palate cleanser nicely. Also a papad was crunchy and tasty. The total bill was 64.5 dhs. I am very happy with the food. The fish was fresh and juicy. Bhindi do pyaza was also tasty - amount was large and I couldn't finish and packed them home. A bit oily though. The amount of lemon soda was too good also. Very happy with the service. Washbasin area was well maintained also. They have a large LED showing hindi movie songs. Overall much recommended.

The best butter chicken in the country hands down. The best mughlai food too as well. They have been doing it for years and they continue to maintain the same taste through couple of generations of this legendary restaurant. Chicken tikka is a must try as appetizers as well. And while you wait for the food to arrive, you can sample their masala papads as well. The ambience is not that great as they still pack the same arrangement since years without much renovation. So that might put some people off. But their food is more than awesome. You'll be left totally satisfied. Don't mind the colouring that might be left behind at the end. The food is totally lip smacking.

I think this is one of the best tandoori chicken i have had in dubai..their butter chicken is also ok . I have had better than this . Many influencers give very big hype for the butter chicken.. I think the tandoori chicken is better….their staff was very friendly and helpful…the ambiance of the place was average but spacious table and seats..i recommend their tandoori chicken…

Sind Punjab is simple and very unpretentious - (unlike a lot of the other famous restaurants in Dubai.) The food doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what it claims to be- great tasting Indian comfort food. The butter chicken IS truly worth the trek to this side of town. I love tapas and savoury treats so yes of course we had the Pani AND Dahi Puris Neither disappointed. Somehow between the double appetisers and modest main that our group of 4 shared, we left full and happy. The food was absolutely delicious and we had some leftovers to take along as well. Can’t wait to return!

A classic from back in the day, sind punjab in meena bazaar has always been consistent. I remember going there 25 years ago and again yesterday. Their food is as good. It was quick and the service was great. Its not fancy by any means but functional and nostalgic from restaurants we visited back in the day.
